Today we took some time to design the area for the pigs in such a way that they have fresh forest every couple of weeks, just by moving the electric fence; some 1250m2 of new forest out of the total 4900m2 forest-area designated for them.
This is what we came up with ...
A central 'hub' with the pig-ark within a 70*70 meters fenced part of the forest that can be split in 4 area's by moving the electric fencing around every couple of weeks.
Centrally we will put this ark in a 10*10 sub-area as their night quarters:
Not prio 1, but also not too late, as we won't have pigs in 2023 if we wait too long; luckily, the project does not interfere with the rest.
